Who Am I? Well that's a great question. My name is Kari. I graduated from the National Holistic Institute located in California, where I received my Health Educator Certification and Massage Therapy Degree in 1995. Since then I moved back to Nebraska where I am state licensed. I have over 20 years of hands on experience doing massage therapy, but have been licensed for 16 years. About 6 years ago I decided to become certified in Pregnancy Massage and Reflexology. I do try to educate myself often and I take as many classes on a variety of subjects every year. I guess you can say that I have been rubbing my family "the right way" since I was 3 years old. My very first experience with massage was when my father asked me to walk on his back. My parents would often rub my back before bed each night, and I remember to this day, how relaxing it was. So I guess you could say, it was a very natural decision for me to go into a massage career. I have always taken an interest in health care, always wanting to help people. I feel that I truly understand my clients and the stress that they are under; whether that be with motherhood and day to day life, (as I have two little ones myself) or in the corporate world with deadlines and demands because I have had jobs in both of these occupations. I honestly love my job and feel like it is my responsibility to teach people how to relax and unwind.
